Performances, 1988-89

The Men In Suits series followed the series of the first wearable sculptures that were made of wood and fabric. In these works I coated men's suits with silicone rubber. The Philadelphia performance, Men In Suits, The Commuters, was funded by The Painted Bride. It was the first time I worked with a group of people wearing my sculpture and the living sculptures performed in several downtown locations.
